A tall Asker LED column for larger outdoor areas

The NORLYS Asker 5228AL is a 300 cm integrated LED lighting column made to give larger areas around a building a clear, organised light pattern. Its slim geometric form and aluminium finish complement contemporary façades, concrete and brick without adding decorative excess. The two-section construction creates a strong vertical element, so the fitting can define an approach as well as illuminate it after dark.

Engineered outdoor lighting

• integrated 19.4 W LED, 3000 K and 2616 lm;
• Ledil T2-L optic with IESNA Type III distribution;
• aluminium body, clear PMMA lens and silicone sealing;
• IP65 ingress protection and IK08 impact resistance;
• trailing-edge phase dimming.

The warm 3000 K output gives an entrance, pedestrian route or driveway a welcoming appearance, while the output and directional distribution suit broader functional zones outdoors. The LED source is built in, so no separate bulb has to be selected. NORLYS specifies a 100,000-hour average lifetime.

Planning the installation

Asker 5228AL measures 24 × 48.5 × 300 cm and uses four M14 anchor holes on a 180 × 180 mm pattern. Consider the column height, the 230 V supply and the intended lighting zones before installation. It is a considered choice for a prominent entrance, avenue, parking area, business grounds or a large garden where a low bollard would not provide enough presence or visibility.
