There are visible gaps between the fibres, so the woven body is not a continuous closed surface. The final lighting effect also depends on the bulb you choose. This version measures 50 cm long, 50 cm wide and 70 cm high. These are the dimensions of the shade, not the overall drop of a pendant including its cable. Before placing it above a table or in a living room or bedroom, compare both its footprint and height with the space available. The tall peak and hanging fringe are part of that vertical outline.

The irregular lower edge, exposed fibres and open weave suit boho, rustic and ethnic-inspired interiors. Wood and visibly textured fabrics can echo its surface. Placement is limited to indoor spaces: the manufacturer rules out outdoor use even in covered areas. Outdoor styling photographs do not change that restriction.

Shaping and caring for the fibres

Handmaking can result in slight differences in weave and colour between individual pieces. To spread the fringe into the fuller shape shown in the images, the manufacturer recommends gentle shaping by hand or light steaming. Remove dust with a soft dry cloth or brush, avoid soaking the fibres, and keep the shade in a dry indoor space.
