Borg 6192GR is a 105 cm bollard light: a slim tube 7.6 cm in diameter topped with a flat, round 20 cm cap. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in graphite (RAL 7016), with a satin PMMA diffuser working under the cap.
How it lights
Light leaves from under the cap and spreads evenly all around the post, and ULOR 0 % means nothing goes upwards – the fitting lights the path and lawn, not the sky or windows. The integrated LED module draws 17.6 W and the complete fitting delivers 1358 lm at 77.2 lm/W. That is a lot for a bollard: enough to light a wide path, a driveway or part of a square clearly. 3000 K is warm white, at CRI 80.
The light source is included. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service, and the manufacturer states a module life of L80 over 102,000 h and a driver life of 100,000 h – at a few thousand burning hours a year, that is many years of use.
DALI2 control
The fitting has a DALI2 driver with NightDim, factory-programmed to maximum current. Dimming and schedules need a DALI installation – an ordinary phase dimmer will not work with it. Other programming settings are made by the manufacturer on request, so the bollard suits sites where outdoor lighting is run by an electrician or facility manager.
Installation and durability
The manufacturer intends the bollard for gardens, private grounds and public areas. IP65 is a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK08 impact resistance matters on paths used by mowers and bicycles. It is a protection class I fitting and needs a protective earth conductor.
The bollard weighs 3.9 kg and is installed according to the enclosed instructions; a ground anchor (index 202) or a concrete anchor (index 203) is bought separately. The terminals take up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped through to the next fitting, and the gland suits a round cable of 7–13.5 mm diameter.
