Bollard Light NORLYS Egersund Park 6093AL Light Grey RAL 9006 LED 85 cm

Egersund Park 6093AL is an 85 cm bollard light with a cylindrical body 12 cm in diameter. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated light grey RAL 9006, and is topped by a 33 cm clear PMMA cylinder under a flat cap. The LED module and driver are built in, so there is no lamp to buy.

Fixing and connection

The bollard is bolted down with three screws through ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. What it bolts to is not in the box: Norlys sells a concrete-in anchor (205), a ground anchor (206), a concrete foundation adapter (206S) and junction boxes 6136 and 6137 separately, and one of these bases has to be added to the order. The luminaire weighs 4.9 kg.

It is a protection class I luminaire, so it needs an earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², and the next bollard can be looped through on up to 5 × 2.5 mm², which means a row of bollards along a path runs from a single supply line. The cable gland takes round cable of 8–12 mm or 10–14 mm.

How much light, and what kind

The 20.5 W Cree module produces 3566 lm, and 2319 lm leaves the luminaire at 23.9 W input, which is 97 lm/W. The light is symmetrical and aimed down at the ground around the bollard; only 1% of the flux goes upwards, so very little reaches the night sky. 4000 K is a neutral white, and Ra 80 renders plants and paving without obvious colour shifts.

The driver supports DALI2 and NightDim, so the luminaire can be dimmed from a control system or turned down automatically at night. It leaves the factory at maximum current; Norlys programs other settings on request.

Durability and service

IP65 means the bollard can stand outdoors without any cover, and IK08 means it resists the knocks a light beside a path or lawn is exposed to. The driver withstands 6/10 kV surges. A qualified service technician replaces the LED module and driver, using the electrical spare kit Norlys offers. The maker rates the driver at 100,000 h; the module keeps 80% of its flux for over 102,000 h and 90% for over 52,600 h. The bollard is intended for gardens, private grounds and public areas.
