Bollard Light NORLYS Egersund Park 6083AL Light Grey RAL 9006 LED 105 cm

Egersund Park 6083AL is a 105 cm bollard light: a cylindrical body 12 cm across in cast aluminium, powder-coated light grey RAL 9006, topped by a 33 cm clear PMMA cylinder with a flat cap. The LED module and driver are built in, so there is no bulb to buy.

Mounting and connection

The bollard is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. The concrete anchor (205), ground anchor (206), concrete foundation adapter (206S) and junction boxes (6136, 6137) are sold separately, so one of the anchors or the adapter has to be added to the order. The luminaire weighs 5.64 kg.

It is protection class I and needs a protective earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², and the next bollard can be looped through with up to 5 × 2.5 mm², so a row along a path can run from one supply line. The gland accepts round cable of ø8–12 mm or ø10–14 mm.

How much light, and what kind

The Cree module produces 3566 lm from 20.5 W, and 2319 lm leaves the luminaire at a 23.9 W draw. The light is symmetrical and aimed down onto the ground around the bollard, with only 1% of the flux going upward. At 4000 K it is neutral white, and Ra 80 shows planting and paving without obvious colour distortion.

The driver supports DALI2 and NightDim, meaning dimming from a control system or an automatic power reduction at night. It ships set to maximum current; Norlys programmes other settings by arrangement with its sales department.

Build and servicing

IP65 lets the bollard stand outdoors without cover, and IK08 means resistance to the knocks that happen beside paths and lawns. The driver withstands 6/10 kV surges. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service using the electrical kit sold as a spare part. The driver is rated for 100,000 h, and the module keeps 80% of its flux for more than 102,000 h and 90% for more than 52,600 h. The maker intends it for gardens, private grounds and public areas.
