Egersund Mini 5118GR Bollard Light Graphite LED 9.1W 4000K 49 cm NORLYS

Egersund Mini 5118GR is a low Norlys bollard light shaped as a cylinder 12 cm in diameter and 49 cm tall. The cast aluminium body is powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016), and the 16 cm head is closed by a clear PMMA cylinder that lets you see into the fitting.

Size and installation

At 49 cm the bollard marks the edge of a path or a border rather than lighting the garden from above. It is fixed with three screws through ø9 mm holes on a ø65 mm circle. The ground anchor, the concrete anchor and the mounting adapters are sold separately, so choose how it will be anchored before you buy.

The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², and further bollards can be looped through with cable up to 2 × 2.5 mm² with an 8–12.5 mm sheath. A row along a path can therefore run on a single cable. The fitting is protection class II and needs no earth conductor.

What light it gives

The LED module gives 4000 K, a neutral white, at CRI 80. The complete fitting draws 9.1 W and delivers 917 lm. Light spreads evenly all around the bollard, and a small share, 11 % of the output, also goes above head level. It can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, both leading-edge and trailing-edge.

Build and service

IP65 lets the bollard stand uncovered in the rain, and IK08 means the housing withstands a 5 J impact. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service; Norlys offers service kit ZS5118zx0013 for this and gives an L80 LED lifetime of over 102,000 hours. The plain cylinder without ornament suits a modern or Scandinavian garden, driveway or terrace.
