Elstead Balance E27 table lamp, black and polished nickel, white shade BALANCE-TL-BKPN

Elstead Balance BALANCE-TL-BKPN is a table lamp with a white cylindrical shade suspended beneath a horizontal arm. Its black steel frame has polished nickel accents, while the shade carries a silver mirror laminate lining. This is the black and nickel version with a white shade, rather than the brass-finished alternative in the Balance range.

Allow for the full depth

The lamp measures 65.6 cm high, 33.5 cm wide and 46.9 cm deep. Its shade sits to one side of the upright, so the space required is not defined by the round base alone. Before placing it on a sideboard, sofa-side table or bedside cabinet, compare the furniture depth with the full 46.9 cm measurement.

Balance is intended for interior use and has a plug-in power supply. It needs a surface to support the base and access to a socket, rather than a wall mounting point. If there is a shelf above the intended position, check the available height as well. These measurements describe the complete lamp, not just the white shade.

A separate E27 bulb

The single E27 socket accepts a bulb rated up to 60 W. No bulb is supplied, and there is no integrated LED module. Your choice of bulb therefore determines the light colour and brightness; the white shade does not establish a particular colour temperature.

The manufacturer specifies compatibility with dimmable smart lamps. For brightness adjustment, choose a suitable smart bulb and its corresponding control method. This compatibility should not be read as confirmation of a built-in dimmer.

Black framework, white fabric and nickel

The polycotton shade contrasts with the slender upright and straight horizontal arm. Those simple lines suit modern furnishings, while the offset shade and polished nickel details give the design a retro character. Use it as an additional light on furniture in a living room, bedroom or study, provided the available surface accommodates its dimensions. The silver lining is part of this exact shade finish, not a different shade colour to choose separately. This model is made in England.
