Endon Polka POLKA-AB Rise-and-Fall Pendant, Antique Brass, E27, 37 cm

Endon Polka POLKA-AB is a rise-and-fall pendant with a 37 cm metal shade in an antique brass finish. Its exposed pulleys and counterweight make the suspension part of the design, rather than simply a cord between the shade and ceiling.

A suspension you can adjust after fitting

The overall height can be changed from 92 to 198 cm after installation. This distinguishes it from pendants whose cable is shortened only when they are first fitted. Before choosing a position, compare both ends of that range with your ceiling height and tabletop. Even at its highest setting, the fitting extends 92 cm below the ceiling.

The manufacturer recommends Polka for higher ceilings and dining areas. Its open-bottomed shade lets light fall onto the surface underneath, making a dining table or the dining section of a living room a relevant location. The 37 cm diameter describes the shade itself; it does not specify the width of the illuminated area or promise whole-room coverage.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

There is one E27 lampholder, with a maximum bulb rating of 60 W. No bulb is supplied, and a suitable E27 LED bulb can be used. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb you select. The maximum rating is a limit, not a fixed energy consumption for every possible bulb.

The fitting supports dimming when paired with a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer. An E27 base alone does not establish dimming compatibility, so check the bulb and control specifications together.

Antique brass finish and visible metalwork

The rounded metal shade, brown cord and exposed suspension mechanism suit industrial, loft and vintage interiors. Antique brass describes the finish rather than an entirely solid-brass construction. The installation manual specifies domestic ceiling use, excluding bathrooms. This is a Class I fitting and must be connected to a protective earth conductor.
