The Frigga 2147GR is a Norlys bollard light 85 cm tall with a square 14 × 14 cm section, made of extruded aluminium profile with vertical fluting and powder coated in graphite RAL 7016. On top sits a cube of crystal glass, satin-finished on the inside, through which light leaves on all sides.
What light it gives and which bulb to choose
The bollard has an E27 socket and takes an LED lamp in an A55–A60 bulb shape of up to 9 W. The bulb is not included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself — for a path or driveway 2700–3000 K, a warm light, is the usual choice. The satin glass diffuses the bulb's glare, so the head glows evenly and the light falls all around onto the ground next to the bollard.
Norlys notes that the crystal glass may take on an amber tint over time. The glass head is available as a spare part (0921530010).
Mounting and connection
The base has three ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a 65 mm circle. The fixing parts are bought separately: an anchor for casting into concrete (205ZX0010), a ground anchor driven into soil (206GA0010), an adapter for a concrete foundation (206GA0S10) or a mounting adapter (3080GA0009) — the choice depends on whether the bollard stands in concrete or in soil.
The fitting is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor, and runs on 220–240 V. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², also when looping through to the next bollard, and a round-sheathed cable can be up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The bollard weighs 8.1 kg.
Where it fits
IP65 lets the bollard stand outdoors without cover, and IK06 is a moderate impact resistance. At 85 cm the light source sits below eye level, so the bollard marks the edge of a path, terrace, driveway or pavement by the street without dazzling people walking past. The fluted shaft and glass cube combine a modern form with Scandinavian simplicity. Norlys makes the same model in eight colours, and as the 2148, a lower 50 cm bollard.
