NORLYS Stavanger 5064AL is a 50 cm garden bollard, 20 cm in diameter, in powder-coated die-cast aluminium in aluminium colour (RAL 9006). At the top of the cylinder sits a ring of clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate through which the light leaves. The LED module and DALI driver are built in and included — there is no light source to buy.

What light it gives

The light is indirect and spreads evenly all round the bollard, directed downwards — it lights the ground around it, and the LED module itself is not visible from the side. ULOR is 3.14%, so only a small share of the light escapes into the sky. The whole luminaire draws 12.2 W and emits 428 lm at 3000 K, a warm white — light for marking a path, a flower bed or the edge of a terrace, not for lighting a whole yard.

The driver supports DALI2 and the NightDim function. It is factory-programmed for maximum current, so without a controller the bollard runs at full output; dimming needs a DALI installation, and other settings are programmed by Norlys on request.

Installation and what to buy separately

The bollard is fixed with three bolts through ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø145 mm circle. The ground anchor (1231), concrete-in anchor (1230), concrete-foundation adapter (1232) and mounting adapter (3087) are sold separately — one of these has to be chosen to suit the ground. The bollard weighs 6.99 kg.

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm² and allow loop-through wiring (up to 5 × 1.5 mm²) to the next luminaire. The gland takes round cable 8–17 mm in diameter. The luminaire is protection class I and must be connected to a protective earth conductor.

Durability and where it fits

IP65 means full protection against dust and water jets, and IK08 means it withstands the kind of knocks that happen beside a path. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service; Norlys lists a service kit for the bollard and gives an LED lifetime of L90 above 109,000 h and 100,000 h for the driver. Norlys intends it for private grounds and public areas — gardens, terraces and driveways, around hotels and restaurants.
