The Lofoten 2013BL is a double pole-top luminaire: two box-shaped lanterns of clear safety glass hung from a horizontal arm on either side of the pole. The body is powder-coated steel in black (RAL 9005), and the form is plain, in the classic shape of a lantern.
Dimensions and mounting
The luminaire is 72 cm wide and 36 cm high, and each lantern is 19 cm wide. It slides onto a pole 50 mm in diameter; the pole is not included. The manufacturer paired this head with the Lofoten 3011 telescopic pole, adjustable from 120 to 220 cm — together they formed the Lofoten 1947 set, up to 235 cm tall.
Power comes through a 2.4 m H03V2V2H2-F 2 × 0.75 mm² cable, connected inside the pole in a suitably sized junction box. The connection is a job for an electrician.
Light sources
Each lantern has an E27 socket, so two bulbs are needed — they are not included. Standard A55–A60 bulbs up to 110 mm long fit: LED up to 11 W or halogen up to 57 W per socket. Because the glass is clear, the bulb stays visible, and its shape and colour temperature decide how the lamp looks after dark — with a warm 2700–3000 K bulb the lantern gives a yellowish light close to a traditional incandescent bulb.
Where it can stand
The IP44 rating means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the luminaire can stand outdoors in the rain. It is a protection class II design, with no earth conductor. The manufacturer intended the Lofoten range for lighting gardens, parks and the surroundings of buildings — the double head lights a path or driveway in two directions from a single pole.
