JAMUNDI is a wall light shaped as a straight chrome bar 49 cm long, with an acrylic diffuser running along its lower edge. It is held by a single rectangular bracket in the middle, screwed to the wall. The body is aluminium with a polished, mirror-like finish.

How big it is and where it goes

The bar measures 49 cm wide, 6.5 cm high and 9 cm deep. Compare the width with the width of your own mirror or cabinet — a fitting narrower than the mirror lights its middle section, not the whole surface. It stands 9 cm off the wall; compare that figure with the depth of the shelf or cabinet meant to sit below it.

It runs on 230 V and has no cable with a plug: it is wired permanently into the installation, so a supply cable has to be brought out at the mounting point. It fixes at a single point in the middle of the bar, not at two points at its ends.

How much light it gives and in what colour

The built-in LED module draws 12 W and delivers 874 lm. That is roughly the light of an old 60 W bulb — enough to light a face at the mirror, but too little to light a whole bathroom as the only source. The 3000 K colour is warm white: slightly yellowish light, close to a classic incandescent bulb.

The light source is included but built in permanently — the LED module is not replaced like a bulb. The acrylic diffuser covers the diodes along the whole length of the bar, so it emits a continuous band of downward light rather than separate points.

Build and where it belongs

The body is aluminium, the diffuser acrylic, and the whole is chrome-finished with a mirror gloss. IP44 protection means resistance to splashing water from any direction — the level intended for a bathroom, by the mirror and the basin, out of reach of the shower spray.

The fitting is intended for the bathroom — above a mirror and above a dressing table. The form is modern: a rectangular, smooth body without ornament, in which the chrome gloss remains the only accent.
