Lysfjord 6423GR is a cylindrical outdoor wall light, 15 cm in diameter and 43 cm high, cast in aluminium and powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016). It shines up and down at the same time, in 60° beams, through safety-glass diffusers.
How big it is and how it is mounted
The fitting projects 20 cm from the wall and weighs 6.73 kg, so it needs a solid substrate. It is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 73 × 154 mm. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and fittings can be looped through with cable up to 5 × 1.5 mm² in a round sheath of ø7–10.5 mm. Up to 18 of these fittings go on one B 10A breaker and up to 28 on a B 16A — the figures for planning a circuit along a long facade.
How much light it gives and how it is controlled
Two LED modules draw 26.5 W in total and the fitting delivers 1814 lm at 4000 K — a neutral white without a yellow tint. Half of the output goes up and half down, so two bright bands spread out from the fitting across the wall. CRI 80 renders colours correctly, if less faithfully than a CRI 90 source.
The driver is built in and supports DALI-2 and the NightDim function. DALI control needs a controller for that system. The driver leaves the factory set to maximum current, and other parameters are programmed by arrangement with Norlys' sales department.
Where it works and what can be replaced
Norlys intends the fitting for lighting walls, facades and architectural details. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK08 means impact-resistant, so the light can hang outdoors without a canopy. It is protection class I and needs an earth conductor.
The LED modules and the driver are replaced by a professional service, and the diffuser is available as a service kit. Norlys states a driver lifetime of 100,000 h and an LED lifetime above 102,000 h (L80). To order, Norlys makes a phase-dimmable version, a 2700 K version, a version with surge protection and other RAL colours.
