Nora 2473CG is an outdoor LED wall light shaped as a flat square of cast aluminium, powder-coated in cement grey (RAL 7033). Light leaves through satin safety glass at the top and bottom, so it draws two soft, diffused beams on the wall – one above the fitting and one below it. The plain body without ornament and the single colour suit modern and Scandinavian architecture.
Size and mounting on the facade
The body measures 13 × 13 cm, projects only 5 cm from the wall and weighs 0.85 kg. It is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm – a dimension to compare with the point where the cable comes out of the facade. IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the light can hang on an unsheltered wall, and IK09 indicates high impact resistance.
The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and the round sheathed cable can be 7–10.5 mm in diameter. Further lights are looped through with conductors up to 5 × 1.5 mm², so a row along one wall runs from a single supply line. The manufacturer also states how many fittings one circuit breaker carries: 46 on B10A, 74 on B16A and C10A, 119 on C16A. This is a protection class I luminaire and needs a protective earth connection.
What light it gives
Two LED modules drawing 15.3 W shine at 3000 K, a warm white, with a colour rendering index of CRI 80. The modules themselves produce 1968 lm; through the satin glass and the two-sided optic, 613 lm leaves the fitting. Half of that goes upwards (ULOR 50%) and half downwards, so the light paints the facade rather than lighting the ground in front of the building.
DALI2 control and servicing
The driver is built in and runs on DALI2: brightness is set from a DALI controller, and an ordinary phase-cut dimmer will not control it. The LED modules and the driver are replaced by a professional service; the manufacturer lists service kit ZN2473XX0009 for this light. It rates the modules at over 102,000 h (L80) and the driver at 100,000 h.
