Nora 2464GR outdoor wall light, graphite, LED 10.3 W 3000 K, DALI-2, IP65, 13 x 13 cm

Nora 2464GR is an outdoor wall light with a compact square body of 13 × 13 cm that stands only 5 cm off the wall. The body is an aluminium casting painted in graphite, and clear glass closes the fitting at top and bottom.

Light up and down, half each way

The fitting has two light points and emits both ways — half the output goes to the wall above, half below. Its ULOR is 50 %, which confirms that symmetry numerically and separates Nora from directional fittings, where a fraction of a percent escapes upward.

The LED module draws 10.3 W and gives 793 lm at 3000 K, warm white. That is about 77 lm/W and energy class C. Colour rendering is Ra 80 and colour consistency between units stays within SDCM3 — several Noras side by side on one facade light in a single shade.

DALI-2 control

This is not a fitting for an ordinary dimmer. The maker specifies DALI-2 control, the digital bus used in building installations: it allows the fitting to be dimmed and grouped into scenes together with the rest of the outdoor lighting.

The practical consequence is that dimming requires a DALI installation — a controller and a bus power supply. A phase-cut dimmer on the wall will not work with this driver.

Durability and mounting

IP65 means full dust protection and resistance to a jet of water from any direction, and the IK09 rating describes impact resistance — a figure that matters on a facade facing the street or beside a passage.

It fixes with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm. Sealing rests on a silicone gasket. The fitting weighs 0.85 kg, runs on 230 V, and power factor is above 0.9. Declared module life is 52,330 hours; it is made in the European Union.

Where to put it

Nora lights the wall it hangs on rather than the space in front of it — two bands of light bring out the texture of render, brick or timber. It suits a front door, a run of facade, a gateway and a terrace: anywhere the point is the drawing of light on a wall rather than lighting a driveway.
