Portable light for indoors and outdoors
Nordlux Sponge 34 is a white LED table lamp with a soft, rounded silhouette inspired by a forest mushroom. At 34 cm in diameter and 40.5 cm high, it makes a distinct pool of light on a table, sideboard or low terrace table. Its plastic shade covers an integrated, non-replaceable LED light source, while metal construction details provide a stable base.
The built-in rechargeable battery lets the lamp be used without a permanent mains connection. A 150 cm Micro-USB cable is included for charging. Moodmaker™ provides three dimming steps: the maximum output is 450 lm, with approximate battery runtimes of 5 hours at 450 lm, 10 hours at 300 lm and 18 hours at 150 lm. The 2700 K colour temperature gives a warm ambience, and the 120° beam distributes light broadly rather than as a narrow spotlight.
Placement and character
Its IP65 rating confirms protection against dust and water jets, making Sponge 34 suitable for outdoor use as well as for the home. Place it on a balcony or terrace during an evening outside, then carry it into the living room when needed. It is a freestanding portable lamp, not a fixed-installation fitting or driveway light. The restrained white finish, rounded volume and uncomplicated construction give the design a Scandinavian expression.
