Nordlux ALUDRA 95 E27 garden post light, Seaside anthracite RAL 7016, 95.4 cm

Nordlux Aludra 95 is an outdoor post light with a cylindrical, vertically ribbed body and light visible between the slats around its upper section. Article 2118038250 is the Seaside anthracite version in RAL 7016, made from aluminium and plastic. Jacob Jensen Design gives the fitting a repeated vertical rhythm: its modernist shape remains a visible part of the garden even when the light is off.

Check the proportions beside your planting

The light stands 95.4 cm high, with a shade diameter of 12.4 cm. These measurements help you compare its position with planting beds, paving and the edge of a terrace before installation. It is a garden bollard rather than a tall street-style lantern. Allow for plants that might obscure the upper illuminated section as they grow.

Its form supports placement around garden paths and terrace areas, including the outdoor grounds of a hotel or restaurant. The vertical slats divide the visible light into a pattern of bright and dark lines. This is part of the Aludra design; the actual brightness and colour of the light still depend on the bulb you choose.

A replaceable bulb, chosen separately

There is one E27 socket, rated for a bulb of up to 15 W. No bulb is supplied. You can therefore choose the colour temperature and light output for the area being illuminated rather than treating the wattage limit as a brightness specification. Changing the bulb also lets you change those light characteristics without replacing the fitting.

Dimming is possible with a dimmable bulb and compatible control equipment. The fitting operates on 220–240 V and is Class I, requiring an earth connection. A mounting base is included, and the manufacturer permits parallel connection. Plan the electrical installation around those requirements, not simply around the appearance of the post.

Seaside surface protection

This version belongs to the Designed For Seaside range and has an IP44 rating. Its special surface treatment is intended for coastal locations as well as other outdoor settings. Nordlux provides a ten-year guarantee against widespread surface deterioration, subject to its guarantee terms and a valid purchase receipt. That specific surface cover should not be confused with a ten-year guarantee on every component.
