Norlys Arvika 901GA LED garden bollard, hot-dip galvanised, 89 cm, 2 type E sockets

Norlys Arvika 901GA combines an LED garden bollard with a power distribution point containing two type E (UNI) sockets. Its hot-dip galvanised steel body has a square section and a light opening shielded from above. The exposed metallic finish and straight edges give this particular variant a restrained, functional appearance.

Four-way light from one LED module

Light leaves the bollard on four sides, but this does not mean it contains four replaceable bulbs. One supplied LED module provides warm-white light at 3000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 543 lm; use that figure when planning illumination rather than the 1370 lm specified for the light source alone.

The standard version is not dimmable. Both the LED module and its control gear can be replaced by a professional service. There is no conventional screw-base bulb to choose separately, and replacement is not intended as a routine bulb change by the user.

Power outlets with defined operating limits

The two sockets have B16A circuit breakers and 30 mA residual-current protection, while the lighting circuit has B6A protection. The manufacturer identifies gardens, private grounds and campsites as intended settings where a light and an electrical connection point are needed together.

The IP44 rating applies only with the socket-compartment door completely closed. During rain, do not use the sockets, connect equipment or leave the door open. Close it carefully after use. A qualified electrician must assess local installation requirements and the conditions for safe operation before the bollard is installed.

Allow for mounting and access

At 89 cm high with a 14 × 14 cm footprint, the bollard also needs room for the door to open and for access to its connection compartment. Mounting uses three 9 mm holes, spaced at 120° on an 85 mm diameter circle. The concrete-foundation adapter and embedding anchor are sold separately.

Its unornamented geometry and visible galvanised surface suit modern, minimalist or industrial garden and terrace schemes. Choose the position with the electrical installation and compartment access in mind, not simply the appearance of the surrounding space.
