The Hitra 2461CS is a square outdoor ceiling light from Norlys, 13 × 13 cm across and 6 cm high. Its cast-aluminium body is powder-coated in a corten-steel finish (close to RAL 8011) and closed underneath by a satin safety-glass diffuser.
What light it gives
The integrated LED module and driver draw 14.5 W, and the luminaire delivers 1024 lm at 2700 K — a warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional bulb. The light leaves symmetrically downward, and a ULOR of 0% means none of it goes up: the fitting lights the area beneath it without spilling into the night sky.
The colour rendering index is Ra 80. Norlys declares flicker Pst LM ≤1 and a stroboscopic effect SVM ≤0.4, values at which flicker is not noticeable. The satin glass diffuses the light, so looking up you do not see individual LEDs.
Installation and control
The fitting fixes to a horizontal surface through two Ø5 mm holes on a 63 × 112 mm pattern. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², the supply cable should be 7 to 10.5 mm in diameter, and the light can be looped on to the next one. It is protection class I and needs an earth conductor.
The driver supports DALI2 control — dimming needs a DALI system, not an ordinary phase dimmer. Norlys gives the driver a lifetime of 100,000 h. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service, and Norlys sells separate service kits for them: ZN2461 (LED) and ZS2461 (driver).
Where it fits
IP65 protection allows outdoor mounting without extra shelter, and IK10 is the top class on the impact scale. Norlys intends it for horizontal surfaces, including grazing light onto walls and façades — under eaves, in an arcade, above an entrance, on a covered terrace or in a gazebo.
