NORLYS Lillehammer 2282BL outdoor wall light, black RAL 9005, LED 4.5 W 4000 K, downward light, DALI2

Lillehammer 2282BL is an outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular box of cast aluminium, powder-coated black (RAL 9005). It shines only downwards, in a 60° beam, through clear safety glass. The LED module and driver are built in, so no bulbs need to be bought.

Size and connection

The fitting is 18.5 cm high and 8 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall. It weighs 1.6 kg and is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm apart – a measurement to compare with where the supply cable leaves the wall.

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 1.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next fitting, while the gland seals a round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. According to Norlys, up to 74 of these fittings can run on one B16 circuit breaker, or 46 on a B10. The luminaire is protection class I and needs a protective earth; Norlys requires installation by a qualified person.

How much light, and what kind

At 4000 K the light is a neutral white with no yellow tint, and CRI 80 is the usual colour rendering for general lighting. The module produces 504 lm, but 115 lm leave the fitting at 4.5 W – that is the figure to compare with other wall lights. This is accent light: it draws a bright wedge on the wall below the fitting rather than lighting the whole area.

A ULOR of 0% means nothing shines upwards, into windows above the light or into the sky. The fitting runs on DALI2, so dimming needs a DALI installation with a controller.

Build and servicing

IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the light can hang on an unsheltered facade; impact resistance is IK08. Norlys rates the module for more than 102,000 hours (L80). The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service using the ZS2282zx0009 kit, without replacing the whole fitting.

The light is intended for facades and outdoor walls. Its smooth geometric body without ornament suits modern and Scandinavian architecture.
