The NORLYS London 4024WH is a classic four-sided lantern on a curved bracket arm, cast in aluminium and powder-coated white (RAL 9003). The panes are clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate, so the bulb stays on view and the fitting reads as a traditional street lantern.
What you get and how it mounts
This is the lantern with its arm only — no pole and no part to seat it on. The maker specifies fixing to terminal art. 3040; in the London Big 492 (double) and 495 (triple) sets Norlys pairs it with that terminal 3040 and pole art. 3010. According to the maker's card it can also be mounted on the corner of a building. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm².
The fitting is 65 cm high with a 43 cm reach and 30.5 cm width, and weighs 2.95 kg — figures to check against your pole height and the distance to a wall or path.
Light source
Inside is one E27 lampholder for an A55–A60 shaped LED lamp of up to 11 W. No bulb is supplied, so colour and brightness come with the lamp you choose, and the user changes it. Only 1% of the flux goes upwards (ULOR 1%), so the lantern lights the ground beneath it rather than the sky.
Build
The IP54 rating protects against dust and splashing water, impact resistance is IK07, and protection class II means insulation that needs no earth conductor. The cable entry is sealed with EPDM. A cracked diffuser does not mean replacing the whole fitting — the maker lists a diffuser service kit, number 0904800051.
