Stockholm 288GA is an 85 cm bollard light with a cylindrical body and an opal diffuser wrapped in horizontal hoops. The body is hot-dip galvanised steel left in its natural matt-silver zinc finish, unpainted. It takes an E27 bulb, which is bought separately.
How big it is and where it goes
A height of 85 cm and a 17 × 17 cm footprint are the dimensions to compare with the spot by the path, driveway or flower bed where it will stand. The maker intends it for private grounds and public areas; it is assigned to garden, terrace, driveway and street use and to the surroundings of hotels and restaurants. It weighs 9.55 kg.
It fixes through three ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a ø56 mm circle. No anchor is included; sold separately are the 205 concrete-in anchor, the 206S concrete-foundation adapter and the 3080GA mounting adapter. The terminals take cable up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to loop through to the next fitting, so a row of bollards runs on one line; round-sheathed cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter fits.
What light it gives
The fitting takes an E27 bulb in the A55–A60 shape, with a stated limit of 9 W LED. No bulb is included, so brightness and colour are your choice, and the user replaces it. For a garden, 2700–3000 K warm light is the usual pick.
The diffuser is open and spreads light evenly all round. ULOR is 49.72% and the BUG rating B0-U3-G1 — roughly half the light goes upwards, so the bollard also lights walls, shrubs and the space above it. Where light should not reach windows or the sky, a fitting shielded from above is the better choice.
Build
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so it can stand in the open. Protection class II means double insulation with no earth conductor. The gasket is silicone. The Stockholm range also has the lower 289 (49 cm) and black and corten-steel finishes.
