NORLYS Trysil 1096GR bollard light, graphite RAL 7016, LED 7.3 W 3000 K dimmable, 85 cm

Trysil 1096GR is an 85 cm bollard light made from an extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016). At the top the profile bends into an arm projecting 34 cm, and beneath it, behind a clear textured diffuser of UV-stabilised polycarbonate, two LED modules shine downwards.

How much light, and what kind

The luminaire draws 7.3 W and delivers 620 lm. At 3000 K the light is a warm white, and CRI 80 renders plants and paving accurately. SDCM3 means several bollards in a row shine in the same shade. The light is directed downwards with ULOR 0%, and the BUG rating B0-U1-G0 confirms that the bollard does not light the sky or windows — it lights the path, not the facade.

Dimming, power supply and service

The luminaire is phase-dimmable, but only with trailing-edge (TE) control. That means an RC-type dimmer is needed; an older leading-edge dimmer will not work with it.

The LED modules are replaced by a professional service, while the driver can be replaced by the user; the manufacturer offers the ZS1096 service kit. Norlys rates the modules at L80 102,000 h and L90 52,600 h, and the driver at 50,000 h. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², further bollards can be looped through (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), and the gland accepts a cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. Protection class I requires an earth connection.

Installation and durability

The bollard is bolted down with four screws through ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm, following the supplied instructions; the 1907 concrete anchor is sold separately. Installation should be carried out by a qualified person. IP65 means a dust-tight luminaire resistant to water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact resistance on that scale. The bollard weighs 4.2 kg.
