Outdoor post light NORLYS Florence 805 black E27 IP54 805BL

The NORLYS Florence 805 outdoor post light in black 805BL is a classic garden luminaire in die-cast aluminium powder-coated RAL 9005. The body has a curved arm and a bell-shaped canopy, with a clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate shade hanging below. No lamp is included: the fitting takes one replaceable E27 lamp.

The photometric body is open and only partly covered from above, so light falls toward the ground and the upward light ratio (ULOR) is 18%. BUG rating B0-U3-G1 describes that distribution; at 112 cm the fitting will not replace a tall street lantern.

Size and mounting

Overall height is 112 cm, arm projection 45 cm and shade width 27 cm. At that scale the post lights a path, a terrace edge or a driveway, not a full carriageway. Net weight is 2.65 kg, gross 3.55 kg; the carton is 24.5 × 23 × 82 cm.

Fixing uses two ø5.5 mm holes at 90 mm centres. Terminals accept conductors up to 2×2.5 mm², and loop-in wiring is limited to 2×1.5 mm². Use a round-sheathed cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. Concreting anchor index 307 is sold separately. Supply is 220–240 V, protection class II. IP54 means resistance to dust and splashing water, not immersion.

Lamp

The E27 holder is for A55–A60 lamps. For LED the manufacturer states a maximum of 9 W. The bulb is not in the box, so colour, output and any dimming follow the lamp you fit. An end user can replace the shade; the service kit number is 06370797. Condensation inside the luminaire is a natural phenomenon and not a defect. Ambient operating range is −20…+45 °C.

Material and use

Cast aluminium, an EPDM cable gland and a polycarbonate shade make an outdoor construction. Black RAL 9005 distinguishes index 805BL from white 805WH.

The manufacturer intends lighting for gardens, private grounds and public zones. At 112 cm and IP54 the post suits a garden, terrace, gazebo, fence line, driveway and a park path as guiding light. The form is classic: a curved arm and bell canopy sit closer to a traditional garden lantern than to a geometric facade fitting.
