Pendant Light Sigma SOPEL LUX 5 Black/Gold G9 40739

Sigma SOPEL LUX 5 black and gold pendant light 40739

SOPEL LUX 5 is a pendant fitting built around a deliberately vertical composition. Five slim cables descend from a round black ceiling rose and carry gold-coloured tubes at different levels. The contrast between the black lacquered steel and the brushed, brass-plated steel gives the fitting a defined presence even before it is switched on. Rather than using broad shades, this version directs light from the ends of narrow cylinders, so the cluster stays visually light and keeps sightlines through the room open.

A compact suspended arrangement

The five drops are gathered within a 20 × 20 cm footprint, while the maximum suspension height is 130 cm. Each cable can be adjusted, allowing the tubes to be arranged as a stepped group or brought closer together for a more restrained outline. This makes the 40739 a considered choice above a round dining table, a small island or a seating area that needs one vertical focal point. The black canopy gives the ceiling connection a clean finish, while the gold tubes add warmth without turning the whole fitting into a bulky decorative object.
