Pim wall lamp - 3 light sources - Polished chrome Quintiesse

Quintiesse Pim QN-PIM3-PC is a three-light wall fitting designed for placement above a mirror. A straight polished-chrome steel bar carries three rounded opal-glass shades. Their satin-etched surfaces and visible vertical ribs contrast with the reflective metal frame.

Allow for the width and projection

The complete fitting measures 63.5 cm wide and 15.4 cm high, with a projection of 21.9 cm from the wall. Compare these measurements with your mirror width and the available space between its upper edge and the ceiling. The projection matters as well: Pim is not a flat light strip sitting close against the wall.

The manufacturer permits installation with the shades facing upwards or downwards. This gives a choice of orientation for the whole fitting, rather than independent adjustment of the individual arms. There is no height adjustment, so plan its position alongside the mirror and electrical connection before installation.

Replaceable bulbs supplied with the fitting

Three dimmable G9 LED bulbs are included, each rated at 3 W. Pim does not use an integrated LED module. When replacement is needed, the G9 base and the manufacturer's stated maximum of 3 W LED per light point are the relevant requirements.

The supplied bulbs have a colour temperature of 3000 K, producing warm-white light. The declared output is 300 lm per bulb; this is a light-source figure, not a measured output for the complete fitting after light passes through the glass. Dimming requires compatible control equipment. The presence of dimmable bulbs does not mean that a dimmer is built into the wall light.

Bathroom use and a mid-century silhouette

The manufacturer specifies indoor and bathroom use, with an IP44 rating. Pim is intended as an above-mirror light, but that does not establish permission to install it in every bathroom zone. The chosen position must meet the requirements of the electrical installation.

The rounded, ribbed shades and horizontal arrangement draw on mid-century design. Polished chrome can be coordinated with chrome taps, while the opal glass provides a distinct contrast to the reflective metal. This combination supports retro interiors as well as contemporary settings that include a deliberately period-inspired detail.
