The s.luce Oris is a 200 cm linear LED pendant with a 3.4 × 2.9 cm profile in an aluminium finish. It hangs from two suspensions under a centred canopy and throws a continuous 2700 K line along a table, island or work surface. The built-in LED draws 80 W and delivers 8000 lm.
Size and placement over a top
A conference table around 2.5 m or a kitchen island about 180–220 cm matches this length: the fitting should sit slightly shorter than the top so light stops over the surface, not over chair backs. The 3.4 × 2.9 cm section reads as a slim rectangle from the side. The canopy is 65 cm long with the same section; the maker fits it centrally, and an offset needs a service discussion.
It is a fixed 230 V installation. Variant 197771 is on/off only, with no dimming and no radio remote. The LED strip can be replaced, but only by trained staff.
What the 200 cm line actually lights
8000 lm at 80 W is task light along the full top, not a decorative edge. The 110° beam goes down and sideways. CRI above 90 keeps 2700 K from strongly distorting wood and fabric. Rated life is 25 000 hours; energy class F belongs to this version.
Where it belongs
Use it over a dining table, kitchen island, conference table or a shared desk in a study or open office. IP20 rules out bathrooms and outdoors. A bedroom that only needs low-level light will find full output too bright. The remote version is a different code; this piece does not dim from the existing circuit.
Look
An aluminium bar with a plastic diffuser underneath and no decorative joints. The form is modern and minimal: the character is the 200 cm length against a few centimetres of height. The catalogue colour is aluminium, not chrome and not silver paint.
