s.luce Ranya 190243 LED pendant light, gold and smoked glass, 160 cm, with remote

The s.luce Ranya 190243 is a 160 cm linear LED pendant light with a gold-coloured body and smoked-glass cover. Its cylindrical glass surrounds the visible metal element. This listing is for one fixture, not the arrangement of several pendants shown in some of the manufacturer's series photographs.

Plan the length around your table or island

The slender body is 7 cm in diameter. Before ordering, compare its 160 cm length with your dining table, kitchen island or desk, and check the position of the ceiling power connection. The manufacturer explicitly identifies these locations as intended uses. That does not mean a single pendant will replace every other light needed in the room.

The suspension cables can be shortened to suit the installation. The manufacturer's maximum suspension measurement is 140 cm: this refers to the hanging arrangement, not the horizontal body length. The ceiling canopy measures Ø 7 × 18 cm. Include its size when planning where the fixture will sit in relation to the furniture below.

Control upward and downward light separately

Ranya sends light both towards the surface underneath and towards the ceiling. The supplied remote allows the two directions to be switched and dimmed independently. You can therefore change the balance between the downward and upward light without being restricted to one shared brightness setting.

The included LED source is rated at 42 W and produces warm-white light at 2700 K. Its official source data gives a luminous flux of 2500 lm; this is not a measurement of illuminance on your particular worktop. The manufacturer specifies replacement of the source by a professional. It should not be treated as a fitting for an ordinary user-replaceable bulb.

Gold behind smoked glass

A straight horizontal cylinder and thin suspension lines suit modern and minimalist interiors. The smoked cover distinguishes this version from the clear-glass alternative. If combining it with other Ranya fixtures, check each one's length and glass colour: the shared series gallery also includes other finishes.
