NUMINOS L 3Ph. DALI is a track spotlight with a cylindrical aluminium body on a jointed track adapter. The body is matt white, the reflector ring matt black and set deep inside the tube. The SLV article number is 1004576.
The track it fits and how it is aimed
The adapter is made for three-phase track in the Eurostandard profile. The track itself, the feed and the connectors are separate items — the spotlight is bought for a system that is already up or being planned.
The fitting rotates 350 degrees horizontally and tilts 90 degrees vertically, so once mounted it can be redirected onto different goods or another wall without being taken off the track.
How much light it gives and of what kind
The spotlight draws 19 W and delivers 2600 lumens at 4000 K, a neutral white. An old 60 W bulb gave about 800 lm, so one of these is roughly three times as bright — light for covering a surface, not for picking out a single object.
The beam angle is 60 degrees, wide for a spotlight: the pool of light grows quickly with mounting height. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 keeps colours faithful under this light, which matters wherever the shade of a product or material has to be right. The glare index UGR does not exceed 19 — the figure interior lighting standards treat as the limit for office workstations.
Control, power and light source
The fitting dims to DALI 2, and the manufacturer also provides for Touch control. Dimming needs a DALI controller; a plain trailing-edge dimmer is not enough here.
Supply is 200–240 V AC 50/60 Hz, with a secondary current of 500 mA. The LED module is built in permanently, with a stated life of 50,000 hours, so no lamp is bought separately or replaced. The fitting is Class I and has to be connected to the protective earth.
Dimensions and build
The tube is 21.3 cm long and 10 cm in diameter, and the whole fitting with its adapter stands 18 cm high. Those figures are worth comparing with the height at which the track hangs: under a low ceiling a fitting this long starts to enter the field of view.
The body is aluminium. The fitting weighs 1.137 kg on its own and 1.454 kg boxed. The manufacturer gives a five-year guarantee.
