NUMINOS XL PD PHASE 1005721 is an SLV pendant shaped as a matt white aluminium cylinder, with a matt black reflector visible from below. It hangs on a 250 cm cable beneath a round ceiling canopy. The LED module and driver are built in, so the light runs straight from the 230 V mains.
Size and mounting
The shade is 12 cm in diameter and 25.8 cm high, and the canopy is about 10 cm across. The 250 cm cable can be shortened to suit the room height: the manual describes disconnecting the wires, cutting the cable and reconnecting it, which should be done by an electrician. The pendant weighs 1.9 kg.
It is a protection class I fitting that needs an earth conductor and is intended for dry indoor rooms. The LED source and driver may only be replaced by a professional.
How much light it gives and how it dims
The pendant draws 28 W and delivers 3900 lm, an efficiency of 139 lm/W. A 36° beam gathers that light into a distinct cone pointing down, so the surface below is very bright while the surroundings stay darker. 4000 K is neutral white, and CRI 90 means food and worktops look almost as they do in daylight. A UGR of 16 or less limits glare for people standing nearby.
It dims with a trailing-edge phase dimmer (code C). DALI control is not supported. The maker states a lifetime of 50,000 hours.
Where NUMINOS XL fits
A concentrated, bright beam at CRI 90 suits a kitchen island, where a well-lit worktop is what matters. The form is modern: a smooth cylinder without ornament. NUMINOS is SLV's modular system, in which the same body also comes in the smaller S, M and L sizes and in surface-mounted and track versions.
