The NUMINOS L 3Ph. DALI is a cylindrical spotlight for a 3-phase track. The body is aluminium, 10 cm in diameter and 21.3 cm long, finished in matt white, with a black reflector ring around the lens. The track adapter is built into the fitting, as the photograph shows — the track itself is not part of the delivery.

Which track it fits and how it aims

The spotlight is made for the SLV S-TRACK 3-phase track system in its DALI version, that is a track carrying a control bus alongside the three phases. The track, its feed-in and the connectors are bought separately, and they decide whether the DALI control can be used at all.

The head rotates 350° horizontally and tilts through 90°, so from one point on the track it can light a wall as readily as the floor directly beneath it. With the adapter the spotlight stands 18 cm tall and weighs 1.137 kg — a figure worth comparing with your ceiling height, since the head hangs below the track.

The light it gives

The LED module delivers 2300 lm for 19 W, which the manufacturer states as 121 lm/W. The beam is 60° wide: broader than a typical accent spot, so it covers a whole shelf bay or a table rather than picking out a single object.

The 2700 K colour is warm white with a slightly yellow cast, close to an old incandescent bulb. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means colours look nearly as they do in daylight — which is why a fitting like this goes over displayed goods, where the shade of a fabric has to read correctly. The manufacturer also states a glare rating of UGR ≤ 19.

Dimming, supply and service life

The spotlight dims two ways: over the DALI bus, and from a retractive push button in Touch mode. The driver is built in — the fitting runs on 200–240 V and feeds the module 500 mA.

The stated module life is 50,000 hours, and both the light source and the control gear are replaceable by a specialist only, so no bulbs are bought for this fitting. It is safety class I, so the installation has to be earthed, and it is intended for dry interiors.
