Trysil 1038 double-arm LED lighting column graphite RAL 7016 400 cm DALI2 Norlys

Trysil 1038 is a complete 400 cm LED lighting column: a square-section pole of extruded aluminium splits at the top into two arms in a Y shape, each carrying LED modules behind a clear, textured polycarbonate cover. The arms span 118 cm. The whole column is powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016).

Size, delivery and installation

From 4 m up the fitting lights a path, driveway or yard from above — compare that height with the buildings and trees around the spot. It weighs 28.1 kg net and ships in a 44 × 38 × 232 cm carton — a size to plan for at delivery and when carrying it in. It is installed according to the manual supplied with it; other accessories, including foundation parts, are bought separately.

How much light, and what kind

The four LED modules draw 40 W in total, and the luminaire delivers 3901 lm at 97.5 lm/W. 3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80 is enough to tell colours apart outdoors. The light is diffuse and directed downwards; only 0.4% of the flux escapes upward, so the column does not light up the sky above the property. The manufacturer's photometric calculations assume a 4 m mounting height.

It is controlled over DALI2, so dimming and programming need a DALI controller — an ordinary phase dimmer will not work. The driver is built in.

Lifetime and service

The LED modules keep 80% of their flux for 102,000 h and 90% for 52,600 h. The light source and control gear are replaceable, but only by a professional service — the manufacturer stocks service kit ZS1038zx0009 for this model, so a failed module does not mean replacing the whole column.

IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact-resistance class. It is a protection class I luminaire and must be connected to the protective earth. The terminals take conductors up to 5×4 mm², and further columns can be looped through with up to 5×2.5 mm², so a whole run works off one supply line. The manufacturer intends it for gardens, private grounds and architectural projects, such as hotels, restaurants and parks.
