Vasa outdoor wall lamp 5019 Graphite 7016 Norlys

Norlys Vasa 5019 in graphite RAL 7016 is an outdoor wall light with simultaneous upward and downward illumination. Its half-round, powder-coated cast-aluminium body surrounds a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser with UV stabilisation. The broad, unornamented front suits modern and minimalist façades without introducing decorative arms or hanging parts.

Light output and the integrated LED version

The 5019GR version contains two integrated LED modules producing neutral-white light at 4000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 668 lm; the separately quoted 1188 lm refers to the light sources themselves. When comparing wall lights, use the luminaire figure because it describes the light leaving the assembled fitting. Total power consumption is 8.3 W.

Light travels above and below the body, using the wall as the illuminated surface. This makes Vasa a façade-lighting fitting rather than a substitute for a spotlight concentrating all its output on one selected point. The two LED modules in 5019GR are service-replaceable rather than screw-in E27 bulbs; replacement of either the modules or control gear is work for a qualified professional.

Allowing space on the wall

The fitting measures 31 cm wide and 12.5 cm high, with a projection of 15.5 cm. Before placing it beside an entrance, on a balcony or along a terrace wall, compare those measurements with nearby doors, windows and façade details. Its low, broad body creates a horizontal element rather than a tall wall-mounted feature.

IP65 protection and an IK08 impact rating support outdoor wall installation. Boundary walls and the exterior areas of hotels or restaurants are also possible uses. The number and spacing of fittings should be planned for the actual surface; a lifestyle photograph does not determine the required layout.

Dimming and electrical installation

Vasa supports trailing-edge phase dimming, so a dimmable installation needs a compatible TE dimmer. It is a Class I fitting operating at 220–240 V and requires a protective-earth connection. The instructions specify installation by a qualified professional and a round-sheathed cable with an outside diameter of 7–10.5 mm. Correct passage of the cable through the seal matters for retaining the fitting's ingress protection.
