Nordlux Canto Maxi Kubi 2 black outdoor wall light 2×GU10 49731003

The black Nordlux Canto Maxi Kubi 2 is an outdoor wall light with a rectangular aluminium body and clear glass covers. Light leaves through openings at the top and bottom, while the front remains a closed geometric surface. This black version is identified by item number 49731003.

Choose the light with two GU10 bulbs

There are two GU10 sockets, and bulbs are not supplied. The manufacturer's limit is 28 W per socket. This is a maximum bulb rating rather than a fixed energy consumption for the complete fitting. Your chosen bulbs determine the actual consumption, colour temperature, brightness and beam angle, so these details should be considered when buying the light sources.

The upward and downward output works along the wall rather than as a wide-area garden light. Leave space above and below the fitting when planning its position on a façade. The illuminated photograph shows the two directions, but the precise beam pattern will depend on the GU10 bulbs fitted; it is not a guaranteed result with every bulb.

Allow for the body and the electrical connection

The black variant's datasheet specifies a height of 17 cm, a width of 8.7 cm and a projection of 10 cm. Compare these measurements with the cable outlet and nearby architectural details before choosing the mounting position. The instructions show wall mounting and state that mounting screws are not included.

This is a 230 V fitting in electrical protection class I, requiring an earth connection. It also supports parallel connection of several lights. For a repeated arrangement, plan the cable route and connection points as well as the spacing between bodies.

Black geometry for a terrace, balcony or façade

Bønnelycke MDD's design uses straight edges and an uninterrupted front, lending itself to minimalist and Scandinavian architecture. It can provide up-and-down wall lighting beside a terrace or balcony. Its IP44 rating includes protection against splashing water, not dust-tight construction. Nordlux explicitly identifies this version as unsuitable for seaside conditions.
