The Zuma Line SOLARI is a very small ceiling light: an 8 × 8 cm square standing just 3 cm proud, in white. It weighs 70 grams. Those numbers are the important part — this is a point fitting for surface mounting, not a ceiling light meant to light a whole room.
Where that size makes sense
Three centimetres of height means the fitting barely stands off the ceiling. That is the answer for places with no room for anything larger: alcoves, fitted wardrobes, the ceiling above a worktop, a hallway with a low soffit, the inside of built-in joinery. At 516 lm apiece the natural use is a set of several points in a line or a grid, not one fitting in the middle of a room.
A 4000 K colour
Neutral white at 4000 K is cooler than the 2700–3000 K usual in a living room and warmer than a cold 6000 K. It is the colour at which colours and detail are easiest to judge, which is why it earns its place over a kitchen worktop, in a dressing room and in working spaces. The LED module is integrated and not replaceable — when its life ends the whole fitting is replaced.
Construction
The body combines aluminium with plastic: the aluminium carries heat away from the module, which in a housing this flat is the only cooling path available. Efficacy is around 103 lm/W and the energy efficiency class is F. Supply is 230 V.
