External Ceiling Light Ideallux Urano PL1 Big White 16cm GX53 168050

Ideal Lux Urano PL1 Big 168050 – a discreet outdoor ceiling light

Urano PL1 Big in white is a compact outdoor ceiling fitting from Ideal Lux. With a 16 cm diameter and a 7.5 cm height, its round form sits quietly against the ceiling instead of taking over the space. It is a considered choice above an entrance, beneath a covered terrace or in a sheltered passage next to the house. The matt white finish works naturally with pale render, joinery and clean-lined architecture.

Material and appearance

The manufacturer combines a powder-painted, turned aluminium body with a satin and clear acrylic diffuser. This pairing gives the fitting a tidy, light visual character rather than a purely technical look. It belongs to the Urano collection, while code 168050 identifies this specific white PL1 Big version.

Choose the light source to suit the setting

• lamp holder: GX53,
• maximum lamp power: 1 × 15 W,
• light source supplied separately,
• supply: 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz.

Using a replaceable GX53 lamp lets you select the colour temperature and lighting character when choosing the bulb. That flexibility is useful when different parts of the exterior call for a more functional or a calmer evening effect.

Dimensions and planning

Allow for a flat mounting surface and the fitting’s Ø 160 × H 75 mm dimensions before installation. IP44 is specified for this exact variant; installation should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the conditions of the intended location. Urano PL1 Big suits projects where a restrained detail and the option to choose a GX53 lamp are more important than a visually dominant fixture.
