Ideal Lux URANO PL1 BIG 168135 is a round outdoor ceiling light with a matt anthracite finish. Its aluminium body surrounds an acrylic diffuser with satin and clear sections. A pale circular face contrasts with the side of the housing, keeping the outline compact and free from arms, hanging parts or decorative trim.
A 16 cm circle with a shallow body
The fitting measures 16 cm in diameter and 7.5 cm in height. Check both dimensions against the proposed ceiling position: the diameter defines the visible footprint, while the height tells you how far the face projects from the ceiling. Unlike a pendant, it does not require space for a suspended shade or hanging cable.
There is also a smaller version in the collection. The BIG designation and article number 168135 identify this larger anthracite version, rather than the similar white finish.
Choose a separate GX53 bulb
The light accepts one GX53 bulb rated at no more than 15 W. A bulb is not included. When choosing one, check the base and wattage limit as well as the light colour and brightness you want. Those characteristics depend on the selected bulb; the anthracite housing does not define them.
The manufacturer specifies direct emission and lists the fitting as non-dimmable. It operates on 220–240 V AC. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, with the protective-earth connection required for its Class I construction.
Outdoor use and restrained styling
URANO belongs to the manufacturer's outdoor ceiling-light range and has an IP44 rating. Consider it beneath a terrace or gazebo roof where the installation conditions meet the instructions. It is not a light for immersion in water. The plain cylindrical body, matt finish and absence of ornament support modern and minimalist architectural schemes. Its replaceable GX53 bulb is also an important distinction when comparing it with lights that use a non-replaceable integrated LED module.
