Ideal Lux MIB PL Square outdoor ceiling light white LED 18 W 4000 K 30 cm 202921

Ideal Lux MIB PL Square 202921 is a white outdoor ceiling light with a square opal diffuser. Its aluminium base has a powder-coated finish, while the broad plastic face covers an integrated LED module. A narrow border and plain front give it a restrained geometric appearance, with no exposed bulb.

A 30 cm square with a shallow profile

The fitting measures 30 cm in both length and depth and has an overall height of 5 cm. Compare that outline with the available mounting area beneath a roof or terrace canopy. This is a surface-mounted panel rather than a pendant suspended on a cable. The assembly instructions also allow wall mounting.

Its white finish and absence of ornament suit modern and minimalist schemes. The square face can echo straight-edged ceiling divisions without introducing a hanging shade beneath the mounting surface.

Fixed neutral-white light

The integrated 18 W LED provides a fixed colour temperature of 4000 K. This is the neutral-white version, not the warm 3000 K option in the same collection. A 110° beam gives broad distribution rather than a narrow spotlight. The manufacturer specifies 2250 lm for the source and separately lists 1390 lm of useful light flux. These figures describe different measurements and must not be added together. CRI > 90 indicates the source's colour-rendering capability.

The light source is included, so there is no separate bulb or socket size to choose. The LED module is not replaceable. Operation is on/off only: the fitting is non-dimmable and does not offer selectable colour temperatures.

Outdoor placement and electrical installation

Its designated outdoor use and IP65 rating support installation on a covered terrace, balcony, gazebo or entrance canopy, including corresponding hotel and restaurant areas. A suitable mounting surface is required; this is not a ground-mounted garden fitting. IP65 means dust-tight construction and protection against water jets, not suitability for immersion.

The power supply is built in and included. A qualified electrician should connect the light to the 100–240 V AC installation. Class I construction requires a protective earth conductor. Fixings must be chosen for the supporting material in accordance with the assembly instructions.
