Outdoor ceiling light Ideal Lux MIB PL Round 269115 white LED 18W 3000K IP65 Ø30 cm

Ideal Lux MIB PL Round 269115 is a shallow round outdoor ceiling light with a white powder-coated aluminium base and an opal plastic diffuser. Code 269115 is the 3000 K version. The square model on the same collection card is a different article and does not describe this fitting.

How close it sits to the surface

The outline is 30 cm across and 5 cm high. It projects from a ceiling or wall about as far as a thick trim board, not like a shade hanging on a cord. Under a soffit, beam or low terrace roof, measure the local clearance.

The instruction sheet dated 23 October 2025 describes Mib PL Round as a wall and ceiling lamp. This code’s card shows an earth symbol, so it is Class I: the metal body needs a protective conductor. A qualified electrician should connect it, with the supply isolated first.

Warm light from an integrated LED

The source is built in and rated 18 W. For barcode 8021696269115 the instruction sheet states 3000 K, CRI 90 and light-source energy class F. On the product page this code is listed with 1850 lm, a 110° beam and a 35,000-hour life. The ROUND collection header writes CRI as above 90; the line for this EAN states CRI 90.

The card does not list a dimmer or a control protocol. Plan it as a switched fitting until the manufacturer names a compatible control. Mains supply is 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz. The 48 V DC and 350 mA figures on the source card belong to the LED module, not to the wall socket.

What cannot be replaced

The user cannot replace the source. When the LED reaches end of life, the instructions say to dispose of the whole fitting rather than hunt for a lamp with another cap.

Where this disc belongs

IP65 resists water jets. It is not a submerged or drive-over rating. The flat white form suits a covered terrace, a gazebo, a soffit and a façade, including a balcony if there is room for a 30 cm diameter and an earth connection. It will not stand in for a street lantern or a pool light. With no ornamental detail and an even powder-coated white finish, it reads as minimalist and modern on a dark wall or a pale ceiling.
