Hellvik 2400 LED bollard light aluminium RAL 9006 6.9 W 3000 K 55 cm Norlys

Hellvik 2400 is a bollard light shaped as an open rectangular frame measuring 42 × 55 cm and only 11 cm deep, cast in aluminium and powder-coated in aluminium RAL 9006. The LED module is hidden in the top bar of the frame and shines down through a clear, textured polycarbonate cover, lighting the inside of the frame and the ground beneath it.

Size and installation

At 55 cm tall and 42 cm wide the bollard is a low, flat frame placed beside a path or steps; compare its 11 cm depth with the width of the edging or border it will stand on. It weighs 7.94 kg. A concreting anchor is included, and installation follows the supplied manual. The manufacturer also sells a ground anchor (209) and a concrete foundation adapter (209S) separately, for fixing into soil or onto an existing foundation.

How much light, and what kind

The fitting draws 6.9 W and delivers 531 lm at 3000 K, a warm white — orientation light that marks a path rather than lighting a whole garden. The source is shielded from above and about 5% of the flux goes upward, so the bollard does not dazzle people walking past. CRI 80 is enough to tell the colours of plants and paving apart. The manufacturer's photometric data assume a height of 0.55 m.

It can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, both trailing-edge and leading-edge, so it works with either of the common dimmer types.

Lifetime, service and wiring

The LED module keeps 80% of its flux for over 102,000 h. The light source and driver are replaceable, but only by a professional service — the manufacturer stocks service kit ZS2400zx0009. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, IK08 states the impact resistance, and protection class II means double insulation with no protective earth.

The terminals take conductors up to 2×4 mm², and further bollards can be looped through with the same cross-section — a whole run along a path works off one supply line. The cable can be up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The manufacturer intends it for gardens, private grounds and architectural projects, such as terraces, driveways, hotels and restaurants.
