NORLYS HELLVIK 2401GR LED bollard, 55 cm, 6.9 W, 4000 K, graphite RAL 7016

NORLYS HELLVIK 2401GR is a low garden bollard shaped as an open rectangular frame. Its powder-coated cast-aluminium body is finished in graphite RAL 7016, with the light source beneath the upper bar. This is the 55 cm version with neutral-white 4000 K LEDs.

Allow space for the whole frame

The fitting is 42 cm wide and 11 cm deep. Those proportions matter when choosing a position: HELLVIK has a broad face rather than the footprint of a narrow tubular post. The open centre leaves part of the surrounding landscape visible. Straight edges and the absence of decorative detailing support modern, modernist and minimalist outdoor schemes.

The manufacturer specifies gardens, private grounds and architectural applications. Consider it beside an approach, along a terrace edge or near a driveway, with the arrangement determined by the lighting design. A lumen figure alone does not establish a universal spacing between fittings. Keep the frame outside the walking route and allow for a firm, permanent mounting position.

Actual output and phase dimming

The complete luminaire delivers 575 lm while drawing 6.9 W. The LED module itself is rated at 978 lm; that larger figure is not the output of the assembled fitting. Its light is diffuse and shielded from above. The transparent, textured polycarbonate cover is UV-stabilised, and the construction includes a silicone gasket.

Brightness control uses trailing-edge or leading-edge phase dimming. Check TE/LE compatibility when selecting a controller rather than assuming any dimming system will work; this specification does not describe DALI control. The LED module and control gear can be replaced by professional service personnel, not handled as an ordinary user-changeable bulb.

What installation involves

A concrete-in anchor is included. Other accessories are purchased separately. The fitting uses a 220–240 V supply and has an IP65 rating. Installation and servicing must follow the manufacturer's instructions and be carried out by a suitably qualified person. Plan the supporting ground, anchoring and electrical connection before completing the surface around the lamp.
