NORLYS Hellvik 2414GR LED garden bollard graphite 85 cm 3000K

NORLYS Hellvik 2414GR is an LED garden bollard shaped as a tall rectangular frame with an open centre. Its cast-aluminium body is powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. This is the 85 cm version with warm-white 3000K light and phase-cut dimming; other members of the Hellvik family may use different controls.

Allow space for the rectangular frame

The fitting measures 42 cm in length, 11 cm in width and 85 cm in height. Compare those dimensions with the available passage and the positions of planting and edging before deciding where to install it. The open frame, straight edges and absence of ornament support modern, minimalist and Scandinavian garden schemes.

The manufacturer specifies gardens, private grounds and architectural applications. Consider it when planning illumination alongside a garden path, terrace edge or driveway. Spacing needs to follow the actual layout and required illumination; the bollard's height alone does not establish how much ground it can adequately light.

Light output and the correct dimming method

The LED module and power supply are included in the fitting. Total consumption is 8 W, with a luminaire output of 1038 lm; the light source itself produces 1159 lm. Light is diffused and shielded from above. A transparent PMMA lens forms part of the optical assembly.

The 3000K colour temperature gives warm-white light. Brightness is controlled by Trailing Edge phase-cut dimming, so compatible control equipment needs to be considered when planning the electrical installation. Do not treat this version as a DALI fitting. The LED module and control gear are replaceable by professional service personnel, rather than through an ordinary user bulb change.

Prepare the foundation and electrical supply

Hellvik requires a 220–240 V supply and installation by a qualified installer following the supplied instructions. A concreting anchor is included. Other accessories, including ground anchor 209 and adapter 209S, are sold separately. Plan the support surface and cable route before positioning the bollard.

IP65 denotes protection against dust and water jets, not suitability for immersion. The fitting has electrical protection class II and an IK08 impact rating. Preserving the seals during installation matters to maintaining its declared protection.
