Hellvik 2411GR LED Bollard Light, Graphite RAL 7016, 85 cm, 11.8 W, 4000 K - Norlys

Hellvik 2411GR is a bollard light shaped as an open rectangular frame in cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. The LED module sits in the top bar of the frame behind a clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser and shines downwards — into the frame and onto the ground around it.

Dimensions and installation

The bollard is 85 cm tall, 42 cm wide and only 11 cm deep, and weighs 9.14 kg. Its flat profile lets it stand along the edge of a path or terrace without narrowing the walkway — compare the 42 cm with the width of the border it will stand on.

A concrete-in anchor is included, so the bollard is set on a foundation poured in the ground. The 209GA ground anchor, which replaces the concrete, is sold separately by Norlys.

What light it gives

The fitting draws 11.8 W and delivers 1072 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white that is noticeably cooler than the light of a traditional incandescent bulb. Colour rendering is CRI 80. The manufacturer describes the distribution as diffused light shielded from above: only 4% of the flux escapes upwards (ULOR), so the bollard lights the ground rather than windows and the sky.

Power, dimming and service

The driver is built in and the fitting connects directly to 230 V mains. It can be dimmed with a phase dimmer of either the trailing-edge or the leading-edge type, so it also works with older dimmers in an existing installation. Protection class II means double insulation — no earth conductor is required.

The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², with loop-through up to 2 × 2.5 mm², on a cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. Several bollards in a row can therefore run on one supply line, wired from fitting to fitting. The LED module and the driver are replaced by a professional service, for which the manufacturer stocks a service kit, so a failed light source does not mean replacing the whole bollard.

The housing is rated IP65 and IK08 for impact, so it can stand outdoors without additional protection. Norlys designed Hellvik for gardens and private grounds; it also suits driveways, terraces and the surroundings of hotels and restaurants.
