Italux Coletta SPL-90110-1 wall spotlight, black with wood, 1 × E14

Italux Coletta SPL-90110-1 is a single wall spotlight combining a black metal mesh shade with a textile band around its lower edge and a wooden element above the lamp holder. A rectangular wall plate and short side arm support the head. The open mesh leaves part of the bulb visible rather than concealing it behind a closed cover.

Compact dimensions with a distinctive shade

Italux specifies a height of 16 cm, width of 12 cm and length of 6 cm. Compare these measurements with the available wall space before installation, particularly beside furniture or close to an opening door. They describe the fitting, not a suitable bulb's dimensions or an adjustment range.

The black plate and mesh contrast with the wooden section. This combination of open grid, fabric band and wood sets Coletta apart from smooth, enclosed spotlights. The metal-alloy and wood construction, together with its exposed detailing, supports industrial, loft and retro interiors. Consider whether you want a partly visible light source when choosing between this shade and a fully enclosed design.

Choose one replaceable E14 LED bulb

The fitting accepts only a replaceable LED bulb with an E14 base, rated at no more than 4 W. The bulb is not included. Check its dimensions against the shade as well as its base and wattage: an E14 designation does not define the shape or overall size of every bulb using that base.

Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb you purchase, rather than being fixed features of Coletta. The manufacturer permits dimming with an appropriate light source. If brightness control is required, select a dimmable LED and compatible control equipment; an arbitrary LED bulb will not necessarily support it.

Supplementary lighting without a tabletop lamp

This small, single wall light can supplement lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or corridor. Its position and the selected bulb's light output matter more than the fitting's maximum wattage alone. Because the mesh does not completely conceal the source, take eye level into account when deciding where to mount it. Coletta also includes multi-light versions; SPL-90110-1 identifies this single-light variant.
