Italux Santia SPL-65342-1-BRO-AMB is a single wall and ceiling spotlight with a movable head and an amber glass shade. Its round mounting base and cylindrical metal head have a brass-coloured finish, while the open glass shade leaves the bulb visible. The construction uses steel and glass: brass describes the finish colour rather than the material of the metal body.
A movable head in a compact fitting
The head lets you change the direction of light without relocating the mounting base. Depending on the planned installation, Santia can serve as a wall light or a small ceiling spotlight. It can supplement the main lighting in a living room, hallway or bedroom, or highlight a picture or selected area of a wall. The manufacturer also identifies kitchens and office entrance areas as possible settings.
The fitting measures 15 cm in height and 17.5 cm in width, with a stated length and diameter of 8 cm. Compare these measurements with the space around nearby furniture and allow for the intended position of the tilted shade. Each fitting provides one light point. The brightness of the complete arrangement also depends on the chosen bulb and any other lights in the space.
Choosing an E14 bulb and dimming setup
The E14 socket accepts a conventional or LED light source rated at no more than 40 W. This is the bulb power limit, not a fixed consumption figure for the fitting. The selected bulb determines its brightness and colour temperature. The manufacturer allows dimming with a suitable light source, so an arbitrary E14 bulb should not be assumed to be dimmable. Its specifications need to match the control being used.
Brass colour with visible amber glass
The simple circular and cylindrical shapes support modern and modernist interiors. Because the amber shade does not conceal the bulb, its appearance remains part of the fitting even when switched off. When coordinating Santia with an interior, consider the metal finish colour and the shape of the visible bulb together.
