Jupiter ISLA 1781 is a single pendant light with a clear glass shade that widens towards its open lower edge. Copper-coloured steel details frame the bottom rim, lamp holder and chain suspension. The bulb remains visible through the glass, making its appearance part of the light's overall design.
A glass shade beneath a detailed suspension
The shape combines one shade with a succession of decorative elements above it. A clear accent between the metal sections, a suspension ring and individual chain links distinguish ISLA from a plain shade hanging on a cable. This is a single pendant rather than a multi-arm chandelier.
The manufacturer describes the family as modern. Its copper finish and detailed suspension can also be paired with classic or retro furnishings. The colour describes the finish, not solid copper construction: the specified materials are steel and glass.
Planning its position over a surface
The complete fitting is 80 cm high, 29 cm wide and 29 cm deep. Compare these dimensions with the distance between the ceiling and your tabletop, allowing for the space needed to use the table. The overall fitting height is not the height of the glass shade alone.
A single suspended light can define a position over a dining table or kitchen island. ISLA can also be considered for a living room, bedroom or entrance area where the ceiling height accommodates its drop. It is intended for indoor use, not outdoor installation.
Choose the E27 bulb separately
The fitting takes one replaceable E27 light source rated at no more than 15 W. A bulb is not included. Check the base and wattage when choosing one, then select brightness and colour temperature for the intended use. Clear glass does not conceal the light source in the way an opaque shade does; the bulb's shape remains visible even when the light is switched off.
ISLA operates on 230 V. The manufacturer specifies a five-year warranty for this model.
