JUPITER ALAS 2003 pendant light, black and gold, 1×GU10

JUPITER ALAS 2003 is a single pendant light made from steel, with a gold-coloured sphere separating two black cylinders. A black ceiling canopy and cable continue the vertical outline, while the gold accents are concentrated around the middle of the hanging body. This is the black-and-gold ALAS variant with one replaceable GU10 light source.

A narrow pendant with a defined drop

The manufacturer's dimensions are 120 cm in height and 12 cm in both width and depth. The narrow horizontal footprint makes it worth considering above a smaller section of counter or beside a bed, but the available vertical space matters just as much. Compare the stated height with your ceiling height and the surface below before deciding where it should hang.

Over a dining table or kitchen island, a layout may use one pendant or several separate fittings. Each fitting still has only one light source, so the number and spacing should follow the area you intend to illuminate. In a living room or bedroom, ALAS can provide an additional lighting point alongside the room's general lighting. In a hallway, leave sufficient clearance beneath the suspended body for people to pass.

Choose the GU10 bulb separately

No light source is included. The fitting uses one replaceable GU10 bulb; light colour, brightness and beam angle therefore depend on the bulb selected. Illuminated gallery photographs do not specify a fixed colour temperature or lumen output. Check the bulb's suitability and the maximum wattage marked on the fitting when choosing a replacement.

Black cylinders and a gold centre

The combination of cylinders and a sphere gives ALAS a modern geometric appearance without a broad shade. Its gold detail can relate to similarly coloured handles or accessories, while the black sections can echo darker furniture details. This pendant is intended for interiors. Choose its position and light source for a particular area rather than assuming one small pendant will cover the entire room.
