Jupiter ALAS 2019 gold pendant lamp 3xGU10

The Jupiter ALAS 2019 pendant gathers three gold heads on black cables beneath a round canopy. Jupiter lists it in the ALAS family under code 2019: a gold steel hanging fitting with three replaceable GU10 lamps. It is not a rigid-arm chandelier and it is not a ceiling-hugging flush mount.

A 30 cm canopy and a 35–136 cm height range

The fitting is 30 cm wide and 30 cm deep. The photograph shows a brushed gold canopy disc with a dark rim and three thin black cables. The heads are gold cylinders, and some have a turned spherical waist between sleeves. Jupiter states a fixture height of 35–136 cm. That range describes the whole suspended lamp, not the length of one tube. Cables, not rigid arms, join the heads to the canopy, so the published range is the adjustable suspension length. In the studio photograph the three heads hang at different cable lengths. The fitting itself weighs 3.58 kg. The carton is 24 cm high and 37 cm wide and deep. Jupiter does not state a gross weight.

Three GU10 lampholders, lamps not included

The official card lists a GU10 lampholder, three replaceable light sources and the power line 3xG10/14W. Lamps are not supplied. The underside photograph shows three open GU10 holders in gold tubes, aimed downward. Supply voltage is 230 V. Protection is IP20, and Jupiter marks the fitting for indoor use, so it is not a bathroom or outdoor light. The card does not state dimming, light colour, luminous flux or CRI. Those depend on the GU10 lamps bought separately.

Over a table, not across the whole top

A 30 cm canopy gathers three downward light points in a compact group. That suits a table and a dining room when the tabletop is clearly wider than 30 cm and, after the cables are shortened, the lower edges of the heads stay clear of seated people's heads. Over a table 75–90 cm wide, this group lights the centre rather than the whole surface. The 35 cm minimum is a short drop under a low ceiling, while 136 cm leaves spare height in a taller room. Before installation, measure from ceiling to tabletop and subtract the clearance you need above the seats. Jupiter describes the style as modern: plain gold tubes, black cables and no shades. The manufacturer warranty is 5 years.
