Ripple is a tapered shade in linen-look fabric, digitally printed with a wavy pattern in pearl grey. The material is gathered into fine pleats, the edges are finished with taped detailing and the inside is lined plain. The shade is handcrafted.
Will it fit your light
The bottom diameter is 20 cm, the top 11.8 cm and the height 14.5 cm. That is a size for small table lamps, wall lights and chandelier arms — on a large table lamp it will read as clearly undersized, so measure the shade you have before ordering.
The fitting is a fixed gimbal ring with three spokes set into the top opening. The manufacturer states it suits both table lamps and pendants. The gimbal does not tilt, so the shade stays in one position relative to the lampholder.
What you get and which bulb to use
You receive the shade alone — no lamp base and no bulb. The manufacturer specifies an LED source up to 7 W, on an E14 or B22 cap.
That limit matters here: the fabric sits close around the bulb, so a stronger source, an incandescent one in particular, falls outside what the manufacturer allows.
How it looks and how it throws light
The print lays vertical wavy grey bands over a light ground, and the pleats break the pattern at every fold of the fabric. The plain lining closes the inside and reflects the light downwards, through the open bottom rim.
The shade weighs 0.2 kg and carries a two-year warranty.
