The LED PRO B connector, article 24-0000-48, connects a 12 mm RGB+CCT LED strip to a cable. It has six contacts and a single-ended layout: a transparent connector at one end and a 15 cm lead at the other. This is a strip-to-wire component rather than a double-ended joiner for two lengths of strip.
Check the strip width and contact layout
The 12 mm specification refers to the compatible LED strip, not to the width of the connector housing. Its 6PIN layout provides six contacts for RGB+CCT. When choosing the connector, compare the strip width, strip designation and contact-pad arrangement together. A similarly named RGB or RGBW connector does not establish compatibility with this version.
The manufacturer lists operation at 5, 12 or 24 V DC and a maximum current of 2 A. These connection ratings should be checked against the requirements of the strip being connected. The 2 A value is a current limit, not a power rating in watts.
A solder-free connection with a short lead
The connector uses pins that pierce the strip's PCB and a click-closing housing to make the connection without soldering. The documented materials are polycarbonate and copper. The transparent housing leaves the connection area visible; this is an electrical connection part, not a decorative cover for a lighting profile.
The connector body measures 22 × 17 × 7 mm. Allow for its 17 mm width and the cable exit when planning the connection space, rather than using the strip width alone. The 15 cm cable has six conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.3 mm².
Sealing is required to retain IP65
The documentation permits use with IP20 and IP65 strips. However, the completed connection must be sealed to retain IP65. Fitting this connector alone therefore does not automatically make the whole connection watertight.
